NORTH FOIL SONAR 1850R FRONT WING 2021

The new 1850R reflexed forward wing gives you impressive control throughout the speed range, with extreme top speeds for such a large wing and an incredibly low stall speed. Also a true cross wing, the 1850R has more lift than the 1500R. In small to medium waves, foil-prone surfers can perfect short radius surf-style turns with ease. Ideal for wing-foiling in all conditions and perfect for learning to foil, the 1850R is still suitable for kiting. It features our new specialised foil reflexed section design to give stability to the wing and avoid the tendency for your board to lift the nose hard when you start to ride. This eliminates the need to change your position to adjust the board when you accelerate, or when you drop into a wave. The 1850R has a relatively large surface area, which makes it very controllable, with incredible pitch and roll stability. Normally, a large wing means more drag, and therefore less speed. But because it sits in the fuselage with a lower angle of attack, the 1850R looks smaller than it is in terms of speed range and responsiveness.
