NORTH FOIL SONAR HA1450 FRONT WING 2021

The new HA1450 is the big sister of the HA1250, designed for a heavier pilot or for low wind days. It is very efficient, with great lift, speed, glide and pump in flat or choppy water. The HA1450 has a high wingspan to chord length ratio, with a relatively thin profile, similar to that of a glider wing. With this style of wing, maximum efficiency and lift is generated. The short chord length defines the thickness of the airfoil, and with a thin airfoil, drag is reduced. The wingspan gives stability, with a slightly longer turning radius than a lower aspect ratio wing of the same size.
