Designed to be ridden fast and energetic, our unique strapless freestyle board delivers compact performance with explosive pop. Refined in 2021 for more top-end, control, grip and response. Compact in size and very easy to grip, its directional parallel outline with narrow, sharper rails allows for speed and edge control in a variety of conditions, while the smooth progressive rocker design with tail channels helps with hard and fast landings. The Comp’s wide but low volume tail allows for sink and pop for freestyle in flatter water, and the beveled release rails allow water to fall off the rail and the board to be loaded and released on demand. The contoured double concave platform with toe arc and rear wedge kick maximizes traction and control when powered up, allowing you to fly without leashes. FUTURELITE TECHNOLOGY

The Futurelite carbon and Innegra frame forms a structural skeleton to support the laminates, maximizing strength without losing flex, and allowing the board to load and release power on demand for more drive and responsiveness.

 

FCSII PREMIUM FIN BOX

The new, lighter, premium fin box allows for a 9 degree rake. Compatible with FCSI fins and keyless FCSII fins for more speed and thrust, faster acceleration and increased board response. High density foam reinforcements surrounding the FCSII fin box are shaped to match the curved fin box template for a clean bond and smoother load transfer to the board. The fin boxes, leash cap and foot strap inserts are structurally integrated and locked into the laminate with the Futurelite innegra carbon system for extra reinforcement and flex adjustment.

 

DUALSHOCK EVA INSERTS

With a NEW layer of stronger fibreglass under the main impact zones, it adds more durability and helps reduce dents around the heel. Our solution to reduce over-engineering while keeping the boards lightweight and retaining the necessary flex.

 

CARBON TAIL REINFORCEMENT

Distributes the load under the kickpad and provides impact resistance and torsional stiffness under the rear foot.

CONCAVE DECK CONTOURS

The concave contours of the deck recess the rider, improving control when boosting and adding another dimension to contact in the air, giving you the confidence to go big without straps and stick the landing.

 

BEVELED RELEASE RAILS

Allow the board to be loaded and released from the water on demand. The beveled profile of the rails reduces the suction effect of a round rail so that water can release from the rail and not wrap around the deck. This allows the board to be released from the water more quickly when loading and jumping.

Lightweight, raked fibreglass surf fins with a balanced template for smooth control and projection. New custom fin base shape no longer requires FCSII fillers. Fins are sold separately.

New VectorNET carbon fibre diamond weave adds impact resistance to the rails while maintaining flexibility. Rail profiles on the top deck allow for easy handling in the air and on the beach.

The compact directional parallel outline has a minimal size with hard, tapered rails to allow for speed and edge control in a range of conditions. The outline has been slightly introduced in the nose and tail for the 2021, adding control and increasing tip performance, while the lower volume tail allows more sink and pop for freestyle in flatter water.

The rocker has been softened into a clean curve from nose to tail, which helps the board stick to your feet during strapless tricks.
